A Quantaray Flash = A Good Bargain

I just bought a Canon EOS Rebel digital SLR camera from a great online store recently. The camera is great, but the flash that came with my camera was not up to par in my book. I have a good friend that is a photographer, and when I asked him what would be a good, reliable, inexpensive, and compatible flash I could use, he told me to look at a Quantaray flash. I did a little research online, and I was pleased at what I saw, and read. The Quantaray flash that caught my eye was the QTB-9500A. It is the business end of a two piece flash system that is designed to work flawlessly with the auto focus and exposure systems that are built into my camera. I had to have it.

The manual that came with the Quantaray QTB-9500A flash was very easy to read, concise, and to the point. After attaching my new Quantaray flash to my camera, I tried a few practice shots, and I was very surprised. The shots of the same area I took with my old flash had a noticeably darker shade on the bottom 1/3 of the frame. The QTB-9500A flash brought that frame to life! The even distribution of the light throughout the frame, made the light in the frame look more natural, and thus more appealing to the eye. The flash recharge time is very fast. With good lithium batteries, my recharge time is around 3 seconds. I just want to touch on the business end of this flash for a moment. It has three adjustments that one can make depending on the focal length that is being used. A very easy system to adjust, just push the head in, or pull it out. It might take some time to get used to, but it sure makes a difference.

Since using the QTB-9500A my pictures have really come alive. I’m an amatuer photographer in the summer months now, and I do a lot of weddings, birthday parties, surprise parties, etc. This flash has not let me down so far, and I would recommend it to anyone.
